‘ME TOCA A MI’ TELENOVELA – 1 YEAR 5 MO. 10 DAYS

I’m sure that you all have at least paused on one before, and in Latin America, there are more of them than any other programming on television. In everyday conversation in the DR, people argue about which one is better, who’s the hottest character, who deserved what happened to them last night and who didn’t. Even I like to tune in (when there is electricity). That’s right, I’m talking about everyone’s guilty pleasure: THE TELENOVELA.

Recently, a team of Peace Corps volunteers decided to unite our safe sex initiative and the idea of the telenovela in holy creative matrimony. It’s a pretty ingenious idea. Kudos to mis companeros!
